  2. When I landed in US I was filled with excitement and eager to do something. Everything seemed new and different. Even water tasted very new. Amongst all this excitement there was also this feeling of loneliness and fear of having to learn and acclimate to this new place. More than anything else I wanted to MAKE MY DREAM COME TRUE to be successful in life. It was too much. Then I wished I had a guide to lead me through, something like this blog. After a long wait-it is here.

  4. This blog sounds like a great idea! Although I am not new to America, I'm sure reading about the first-hand experiences of those who are can help sensitize Americans to the unique challenges faced by our international friends upon arriving here. I know that we are not always the most open and accepting people, and that a protectionist sentiment often pervades the narrative surrounding immigration. Fortunately, there are blogs like these that can assist those with an open mind and heart in nuturing empathy and compassion while stiffling judgement and xenophobia.
